Jakarta- Pasar Kue Subuh Senen

Pasar Kue Subuh Senen (Dawn Cake Market) is located in Senen, Central of Jakarta. It is known for their variety of cakes, pastry, traditional Indonesian Sweets and Bread. It's row after row of merchants! The only challenge for us is waking up at dawn... We left home and started driving 45 minutes to Pasar Senen, you can't believe how sleepy we were but we were on a mission! OMG like OMG!!!! There was soo many different cakes and sweets and savoury dishes. We couldn't help to keep buying things as we go from one merchant to another. It felt endless and we felt we were in Cake Heaven. Amazingly we can also try before buying and you can either buy in bulk or pieces as well. Being us, we came home with bags and bags full of assorted cakes! Oh well, we are on a food holiday anyway. #exercisecanwait
